POSITION DESCRIPTION Support the development, implementation, and sustaining of Nike's global storage strategy by providing critical operational support and strategic insights to the Storage
Organization (S+O) team and its clients.
This position reports directly to the Storage
Organization Team Lead and is a member of S+O's leadership team.
The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day operations of the S+O team run seamlessly and is an important contributor to the ongoing development and growth of S+O's strategic vision at NIKE.
As an S+O leader, the Operations Manager is expected to:
Fully align with S+O on our mission, strategic vision, core values, connection agreements and goals, and adhere to our defined professional and leadership standards.
Know Your Customer - Engage all clients and key partners with professionalism, speed and exemplary customer service.
Project confidence and reinforce client trust in the skills and knowledge of the team.
Drive adherence to established processes and demonstrate creativity and critical thinking in streamlining processes as the needs of the team and business evolve.
Partner with S+O leadership to address escalated risks and issues and create solutions.
Continuously seek new opportunities for S+O to innovate and streamline its operational capabilities.
The responsibilities of this position may grow and evolve over time as S+O expands its reach within NIKE.
This role is 20-25% onsite and may require physical activity including working on one's feet for a minimum of three hours at a time as well as repeatedly lifting items of up to 50lbs.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Manage S+O's Associate Coordinators as well as an Operations Coordinator who will support the Operations Manager in daily tasks; ensure all team members receive necessary training to complete their duties.
Contribute content and manage updates to S+O's playbook and standard operating procedures.
Oversee S+O's data
metrics program, including creating/updating Smartsheet pages to capture data, monitoring for quality control, and tracking key metrics to be communicated to internal and external stakeholders.
Oversee team scheduling of client work sessions in partnership with the Operations Coordinator and S+O leadership.
Manage JLL/S+O onboarding process for new hires in partnership with JLL's CORE team and S+O leadership.
Maintain the existing technology
tools supporting S+O's operations (including Smartsheet, Outlook, Box, etc.
).
Manage supply purchasing and procurement for the team.
Provide direction/information to vendors and service providers as required to ensure excellent coordination/execution of work.
Assist with general administrative needs, other duties and initiatives as assigned.
Provide backup support to S+O leaders and the Operations Coordinator when needed.

Strong and credible verbal and written communication skills.
Basic understanding of procurement and accounting terminology.
Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Smartsheet, and other systems as required.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
