Employment Services Coordinator DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES General Coordinate and supervise the development and daily execution of the Work Futures Program which is dedicated to helping individuals with diverse abilities successfully integrate and identify employment in their community.
Additionally, oversee the Marion County extension of the UpSkills Employment Training Program.
Essential Develop an extension of the Work Futures Program in Marion County by identifying and working with community partners, county offices, brokerages and Vocational Rehabilitation to establish a caseload of clients needing Individual Supported Employment Services.
Supervise and coordinate the activities/services of the Work Futures Team, including Discovery, job development, job placement, job coaching and other Work Futures activities.
Manage Work Futures and UpSkills personnel, including but not limited to hiring, providing supervision and evaluating individual performance, and ensuring that State training requirements for continuing education are met by all staff.
Maintain complete and detailed records consistent Dept.
of Human Services and State of Oregon agency standards, procedures and requirements of third-party funding and accreditation sources.
Organize and manage all contracts and Authorization for Purchase (AFPs) for each participant and coordinate monthly billing and invoicing with funding agencies.
Collaborate with the Employment Services Coordinator and Chief Programs Officer in evaluating the effectiveness of the Work Futures Program and make suggestions for improvement.
Assist in the development of short- and long-term goals for the Work Futures Program, monitor progress and assure adherence.
Coordinate regular staff meetings with Work Futures Team and other designated individuals to foster effective communications and positive relationships.
Identify relevant external training opportunities to address staff needs and provide the opportunity for participation.
Market the Work Futures program to funding and referral sources to assure utilization and sustainability.
Assist in the management of fiscal operations including budget development, modifications.
Track expenditures.
Continually monitor the program's financial health and make recommendations to the Employment Services Coordinator.
Assist with the development of public relations and communications strategies to support program goals and increase community awareness.
Assure a safe, clean and organized learning environment.
Assist program participants during lunch and work breaks, as necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Employment Services Coordinator and Chief Program Officer.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEssential Bachelor's Degree in the field of business, program management, employment, rehabilitation, or equivalency; or 6 years' experience in the field of program management, with a minimum of 2 years successful experience in an employment or vocational program working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing, use a computer for communication of information and data recording and be able to successfully and tactfully communicate with community partners, participants and their funding agents.
Strong organization skills and previous data input and recordkeeping experience required.
Must possess valid Oregon/Washington driver's license and safe driving record and have a reliable means of transportation.
Must be able to assist in lifting, repositioning or transferring of clients using wheelchairs.
Must occasionally lift 50 pounds or more.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster.
