AVDE Engineer (Audio/Visual/Digital Experience) Location:
Beaverton, OR Duration:
1 year contract As an AVDE Engineer (Audio/Visual/Digital Experience), you will be responsible for the support and maintenance of AV systems for Nike retail stores, showrooms, and offices.
This includes A/V design, operating, maintaining, installing, configuring, repairing, and upgrading A/V products while also ensuring optimal performance.
The A/V Engineer will analyze and resolve A/V issues in a timely and accurate fashion, as well as support user needs where required.
Your work will be focused on the North America Geo where you will interface with multiple internal teams and external partners to fulfill your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities Help manage and direct the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of A/V systems.
Manage large and small A/V projects.
Tasks include reading and understanding architectural and electrical drawings, creation of system integration drawings and specifications, site visits, project commissioning, testing and acceptance.
Responsible for the development of A/V equipment standards and maintaining documentation as it relates to hardware maintenance and replacement cycles.
Collaborate with various internal teams and external partners to develop long-term strategies for meeting future AV needs and requirements.
Provide end-user training on the operation of various A/V systems.
Receive and respond to incoming tickets regarding A/V hardware and software issues.
Perform retail support on-call duties, occasionally requiring work to be completed outside normal business hours.
Offer technical support and solutions to end-users in addressing and troubleshooting technical issues.
Perform analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex A/V problems and recommend and implement corrective solutions.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance strategies to increase equipment life expectancy and avoid unplanned downtime.
Attend meetings and trainings as required.
Perform other A/V related duties as assigned.
