Personal Lines Account Manager

Our client, a distinguished provider of Commercial, Group Benefits, and Personal Lines Insurance, is currently seeking an experienced Personal Lines Account ManagerThis 100% service-based role offers a unique blend of in-office and remote work, catering to those who excel in both independent and collaborative environments.
The primary focus of this position is to manage and service existing customer requests while assisting the Producer (Sales Executive) with quoting new businessThis role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are adept at ensuring high-quality coverage and are skilled in analyzing and responding to client needs in the insurance sector.
Job ResponsibilitiesService existing customer requests and assist the Producer in quoting new business.
Prequalify and analyze prospects' coverage needs; review and recommend changes in coverage and markets.
Recommend appropriate coverages, prepare rating quotes, and propose to sell new accounts.
Advise on excess and surplus coverages, educate clients about coverage limitations, and document in the system.
Complete carrier applications and ensure they are duly signed by the insured.
Inform clients about policy changes, exclusions of coverage, and insurance coverage needs.
Handle direct billed payments and address billing inquiries.
Assist clients in submitting first reports of claims.
Maintain orderly and up-to-date electronic files and information, in line with agency standards.
Perform various other duties as assigned by agency management.
Qualifications Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Based locally within the Portland area for necessary meetings.
Licensed in Property & Casualty, Life & Disability in Oregon.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Personal Lines.
