High school or equivalent Minimum 3 months experience Eligibility to attain Oregon Backflow Assembly Tester certification Skills to identify types of backflow preventers and test.
Skills to utilize a smartphone Possess a valid Oregon driver's license Be insurable Be punctual PREFERENCES:
Oregon Backflow Assembly Tester certification JOB DUTIES:
Treat customers respectfully and professionally at all times Document all backflow tests and repairs completely and accurately.
Responsibly and efficiently drive a company vehicle to and from job sites.
Maintain company vehicle cleanliness.
Communicate effectively with the backflow team.
Promote customer satisfaction and company success by treating customers, contractors, and co-workers with respect and honesty.
Occasionally perform other services such as removing broken backflow devices, preparing future sites for new installations and winterizing irrigation systems.
Demonstrate respect for company and customers by dressing professionally and appropriately Maintain a safe job site environment Arrive punctually to job sites and office appointments (good time management skills) Maintain Self Awareness Contact dispatcher and/or customer immediately if unable to complete a job at scheduled date/time Respond proactively to job hurdles/complications by communicating with team and/or customer Perform testing and/or repairs accurately and thoroughly Document and report unusual or important site conditions to dispatcher to prevent future confusion Submit test results by end of business day PLEASE NOTE, this is not a direct position with WorkSource Oregon.
