Principle Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare various financial analysis related to manufacturing costs, inventory, and expense information as needed for decision-making support.
Review set up of new raw material, packaging, WIP, and FG items; Review Production BOMs and routings; maintain periodic cost rolls/updatesAnalyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided, to determine effects on costs.
Analyzes actual production costs and prepares periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
Records cost information for use in controlling expenditures.
Prepares estimates of new and proposed product or service costs.
Recommends cost efficiencies in new product layouts.
Provides management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
Develop and maintain standard costs of finished goods and production components in a worldwide ERP system.
Maintain and improve processes and controls associated with manufacturing costs and inventory valuation.
Ensure validity and accuracy of ERP through analysis, internal audit, and coordination with inventory control, production staff and work order processing.
Assist in developing and documenting policies and procedures, including system requirements and internal controls.
Prepare and maintain cost data for Bill of Materials (BOMs), which includes material, labor, and overhead.
Support Inventory Management with management of inventory.
Reconcile Price Variances and book entries as required.
Prepare reports on excess and obsolete inventory and analyze the data for accuracy.
Job SpecificationsAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and WordKnowledge of product costing, inventory management, variance analysis, and financial modeling preferredA recognized University Degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance PreferredAbility to multi-task and balance priorities to meet deadlinesRequires good attention to detail and accuracyEffective communication, including writing, speaking, and active listeningCollaboration and Teamwork Working Conditions1.
