Scope:

Primarily responsible for developing SAP Netweaver Java Portal applications to enable business needs.
Accountable to plan, configure, test, rollout, and support a large-scale SAP Netweaver Portal 7.31 solution.
Leads developing systems requirements, designing, configuring testing, cand automating business processes; specifically in the areas portal development, iViews, and universal work lists.
Must have general working knowledge of HR Portal upgrade implementation including ESS/MSS, Org Management, Personnel Administration, Benefits, Comp, and Payroll.

Mandatory skills and
Experience:
Master's /Bachelor's degree in
computer
science or equivalent, with Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Minimum of 5-10 years of professional experience managing business processes with SAP systems and processes.
Minimum 5 years hands on SAP Portal experience in portal, and Universal Work lists and at least one ERP upgrade implementation.
Experienced with complex HR rules and processes.
Advanced SAP technical expert knowledge in Portal, Java Web Dynpro, experience in SAP Enhancement framework(User Exits) RFC, Object Oriented Programming, Troubleshooting and performance fine tuning.
Must have experience migrating from Java Web Dynpro to ABAP Web Dynpro.
SAP technical expert in Netweaver portal development.
SAP technical expert to manage/configure SAP workflow, universal work list, and programs in multiple countries and languages.
SAP technical expert in SAP Java HR with experience in supporting EHP upgrades.
Experience in developing or changing SAP application
Experience implementing SAP notes, Support Packs, and Enhancement Packs
Some working knowledge and experience on HCM Process and Forms, ESS, MSS, HR-PA, Time Management, Payroll, and Talent Management modules
Works directly with SAP HCM Functional business analyst to ensure application alignment.
Works directly with SAP HCM capability teams to document the technical requirements as well as develop and recommend solutions and identify any potential process changes affected.
Configures technical design for new projects and enhancements to existing projects within SAP Portal module specifically ESS/MSS.
Provide production support for SAP HCM by utilizing troubleshooting skills with deep understanding of SAP Java processes and generated errors.
Deploys software changes, regulatory updates, change requests with appropriate test and back out plans for highly complex changes.
Respond to issues as they arise, learn to use tools and processes to manage support
tickets
, navigate SAP system, perform analysis and research complex problems that might include things with the environment that require escalating.
Knowledge of SAP KM a preferred.
Ability to triage advanced portal requests to other teams such as SAP security or basis.
SAP CE and CAF development desired.
AP Portal architecture is a plus.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and high level of focus and attention to detail.
Strong work ethic with good time management with ability to work with diverse teams and lead meetings.
