The CD Technician is responsible for managing the outpatient milieu including; modeling recovery behaviors, supporting the culture of the program, supporting conflict resolution, integrating new clients, monitoring the physical environment for safety; assisting the interdisciplinary team in all levels of care; and providing support to the Hazelden Beaverton team for alumni, stakeholder, post-primary/continuing care, and 12 step events by providing outreach to clients via phone and/or mail. Specific tasks include but are not limited to; provide recovery support to family members and clients, respond and triage inquiry calls to facilitate access to the Hazelden continuum of care, support clients integration into the 12 step community, collect urine samples for drug screening, make outreach calls to disengaged clients and other administrative tasks as required.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, 1 year customer service experience, basic computer skills/knowledge. 1 year related experience in the field of addiction treatment, desired.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
