McAfee, Inc. has an opportunity for an Anti-Malware Researcher (I880974)in our worksite at Beaverton, OR. Duties: Research broad problems in anti-malware domain and deliver creative solutions. Research and analyze malware and file formats. Perform detection and repair for integration into the McAfee antivirus product line. Investigate static and dynamic analysis-based malware features.
Requirements: Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.
Experience must include:
1. Assembly language, including x86;
2. Static or dynamic program analysis research, and reverse engineering;
3. Operating system internals, including kernel mode;
4. CPU Architecture; including Intel Architecture IA 32;
5. C or C+
programming;
6. Networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, or FTP;
7. Proven experience with research and problem-solving in computer science.
