Troubleshoot, debug, and log new security issues. Provide engineering recommendations for software solutions to mitigate security vulnerabilities. Requirements: Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. In the alternative, Employer will accept a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.
Experience must include:
1. Application level security assessments;
2. Validation of security tests, including distinguishing between a false positive and an actual product vulnerability;
3. Scrum and Agile software development methodologies;
4. OWASP Top 10 security categories, including providing remediation best practices;
5. Software development in Python, C, C++, Java, or .NET;
6. Web technologies, including Web Applications, Web Services, and Cloud Service Oriented Architectures;
7. Wireshark Network and Protocol Packet Analyzers;
8. Static and dynamic fuzzing security tools, using Peach, Burp Suite, Nessus or QAInspect;
9. Advocacy in support of a Security Product Lifecycle Framework;
10. Recurring security patterns and weaknesses in open source technologies.
