The CLG team includes Home Lending, Consumer Credit Card, Personal Loans and Lines, Direct Auto, Dealer Services, Commercial Auto, Retail Services and Education Financial Services including the professional services teams that partner with these businesses - Human Resources, Finance, Credit Risk, and Compliance & Operational Risk.
Our Consumer Credit Solutions (CCS) Unsecured Credit Risk t eam manages the credit quality of the unsecured CCS portfolios, partnering with Consumer Financial Services, Education Financial Services and Retail Services from origination through account management and authorizations to collections.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develop periodic loss estimates for our newly acquired Card, Loan, and Line accounts
Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support loss estimate projects
Research and streamline the current loss estimation methodologies and procedures in production
Research and develop different decision modeling and optimization methodologies
Work with business partners to understand current operations and strategies This individual must be detail oriented, hands on with large scale data, have strong analytics skills, ability to quickly learn new topics and business.
Basic Qualifications: 5+ years risk reporting or analytics experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering or similar quantitative fields, or 5+ years relevant work experience
Hands on experience with and responsibility for loss forecast or in an analytical driven role
Must have strong knowledge and ability to use SAS and SQL, including macros
Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft tool suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Demonstrated ability to think creatively and to innovate
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong conceptual and quantitative problem-solving skills
Flexibility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, highly complex environment
Preferred Skills:
MS Degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering or similar quantitative fields
Modeling or statistical analysis experiences
Previous experience in Consumer Retail Credit services industry
Advanced SAS and SQL programming skills
Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments with challenging timelines
Familiarity with modeling or optimization tools - decision tree, XENO, Marketswitch, etc

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
