The CLG team includes Home Lending, Consumer Credit Card, Personal Loans and Lines, Direct Auto, Dealer Services, Commercial Auto, Retail Services and Education Financial Services including the professional services teams that partner with these businesses - Human Resources, Finance, Credit Risk, and Compliance & Operational Risk.
Our Consumer Credit Solutions (CCS) Collections and Servicing team works with past-due customers to offer solutions for bringing credit card, student loan, personal line and loan, direct auto, retail services and deposit accounts up-to-date. The group also provides customer service for student loan and retail services accounts and works with customers to resolve disputed charges on credit card accounts.
Collector 2 You will:
Work in an environment that is professional, fun and energized with a casual dress code.
Field inbound and make outbound calls utilizing an auto-dialer system as well as work with accounts manually.
Act as a point of contact for the customer to determine the reason for the account being past due along with evaluation the customers financial situation.
Ask for payment to bring the account current or negotiate an account resolution/terms of repayment.
Have structured workdays with all your calls monitored for quality and accuracy.
Training is provided! In our 5 WEEK TRAINING PROGRAM, you will gain an understanding of company products and services, policies and procedures and computer systems.
1/5/2015 New Hire Training class 5 Weeks of training Starting January 5th, MON-FRI 8AM-5PM UPON COMPLETION OF TRAINING you must be able to work a 40 hour work week. SCHEDULES; Sunday 7AM-3:30PM and MON-THURS 11AM-8PM (FRI and SAT OFF) OR TUES-THURS 11AM-8PM, FRI 8AM-5PM and SAT 6AM-2:30PM.
The Position is located in BEAVERTON, OR.
Basic
Qualifications: 1
year experience in a direct customer contact, service, collections or sales environment.
Minimum
Qualifications:
1
Years demonstrated experience in Collections.
Proficiency using Windows based PC.
Must be available to work evening hours and 1 weekend day.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to utilize negotiation skills.
Reliable/consistent job history.
Preferred Skills:
Collections experience.
Autodialer Experience.
Knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
Exposure to regulations within a financial institution and/or credit policies.
Excellent problem solving and negotiations skills.
Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast paced environment.
Available to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
Ability to multitask.
Understanding of State and Federal regulations governing Collections practices.
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
