Job Description:
Our client in Hillsboro, OR is looking for a technical writer that is self-sufficient and versed in all the documentation aspects of bringing a product to market. Work in the industrial sector, and script writing for short training videos a real plus.
Daily
Responsibilities:
- Primary focus will be for in-line and on-line help.
- Researches, analyzes, designs, develops, writes, edits, and publishes documentation for Technical applications, products, training and services.
- Will also have experience in coordinating entire projects and managing workflow and teams.
- The tech writer shall understand Android and iOS mobile application development in general and familiar with Bluetooth (BLE) connected devices and documentation for software development kit (SDK).
Required Skills:
- Enough skill to recommend tools in a Java environment that we can implement for the context sensitive help, forums, FAQs would also be ideal.
- Team is moving fast with frequent changes the norm, proven ability to handle this position in an Agile methodology will be key.
- Very strong written skills, especially written Technical skills.
- Very strong verbal skills.
- An appreciation for graphics and formatting as well as illustration skills.
- Strong design skills.
