Our Mortgage team supports the nation's leading originator and servicer of residential mortgages.
Performs a variety of operational tasks for a moderately complex to complex process or functions. Takes accountability for entire process from receipt of work to resolution and closure. Tasks require coordination of information among various operational areas and customers. Uses multiple online systems.
Duties may include:
Receiving and reviewing incoming work, contacting appropriate resources as needed.
Preparing, editing, distributing, and/or correcting specialized and/or complex documents.
Works under general supervision following established procedures.
Exercises some judgment within guidelines.
Additional Information: This position is in the Equity Operations team. Specific duties may include reviewing accounts for data and information required for charge-off decisioning. Also will be taking on short term projects and tasks. Schedules: 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm
Basic
Qualifications: 6
months administrative experience or interacting with customers/people.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Strong communication and negotiations skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Must be detail oriented, open to change and ability to function multiple computer screens.
Works well in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to change focus quickly with minimal interruption to workflow.
Ability to work independently without losing sight of being part of a team.
Must be available for required OT (which may include weekend hours).
Ability to analyze, research and solution variety of task and/or accounts.
This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
Preferred Skills:
Detailed knowledge of Shaw/Hogan, ECAR, and MSP.
Experience servicing Wells Fargo Home Equity products.
Experience working in a fast paced environment and at times heavy volumes.
Net Available Equity analysis and charge-off processing experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
