My name is Candace and I represent The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Compensation and Benefits Accountant for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Aloha, OR. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:
Forms daily accounting activities in accordance with generally accepted accounting procedures, such as, maintenance of the general Ledger and preparation of - Various accounting statements and financial reports.
Generally reports to Supervisor or Manager.

Responsibilities:
For the 'Compensation and Benefits Accountant', tasks include assistance with and performance of accounting, forecasting, financial statement and statutory reporting for global retirement and health and welfare benefit plans and related projects including regulatory compliance activities over US Statutory Filing processes (US 401(k), Retirement Contribution, Defined Benefit, and Health and Welfare Plans).
Ability to work easily with large volumes of data using advanced excel skills and experience with reconciliations of multiple sources of data at a low level of detail strongly preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
