We are seeking a highly quantitative individual with technical and statistics know-how to fill our ecommerce Data Analyst role. This role combines a data-driven approach and expertise with an eye for spotting new opportunities to test and experiment. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data, and making recommendations
Major Responsibilities/Activities:
Continuously seek to improve existing methodologies and analytics processes.
Create scalable, innovative approaches to extracting, managing, and analyzing data from customers.
Monitor and report to teammates on the performance of various marketing channels and campaigns.
Build self-service reports for in Tableau, and other tools.
Proactively identify and resolve data integrity issues.
A/B testing, conversion rate correlation, performance trends, product affinity, group affinity, etc.
Interpret and use web analytics and
JOB REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS
Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
Intermediate/advanced skills with SPSS, R, or other statistical analysis tools.
Experience with SQL.
Experience Tableau, Hadoop, and python (or R)
Strong abilities in analytics and statistical or mathematical modeling with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to extract meaning and suggest action items from data, not just report metrics.
Aptitude for self-learning.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
A natural curiosity and skepticism, helping lead you to experiments and tests in the name of improvement.
Excellent communications skills when working with teammates who may be either data-driven or more qualitative.
Past experience with web analytics, A/B testing, and inbound marketing tactics.
Deep understanding of web-related behaviors and trends and ability to optimize for these.
Work Site Environment: Resort-like environment with Athletic fields, trees, plenty of grass (not that grass) and buildings named after past greats. Amenities include bank machines, gift shops, dry cleaners, restaurants, and access to the company store.
