CINDER STAFFING is looking for a solid PHP / MySQL Developer to fill a role for our sister company VTM in Beaverton, OR. This is a full time, 40 hour a week position 6 month position. Position Description:
This role will be primarily responsible for the development and maintenance of VTM's web applications, including Causeway. Additional responsibilities will include support of Drupal and WordPress websites and support of customers' needs when they encounter bugs or make feature requests.
Requirements and
Responsibilities:
PHP code development and review
Database and query design in MySQL
Javascript and jQuery
HTML & CSS
Web application security
MVC frameworks (Yii, CodeIgniter, etc)
Version control systems (Git, SourceTree, etc.)
Able to work well independently and in a team environment
Able to work with frequent interruptions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with the following considered a plus:
CMS implementations (Drupal, Wordpress, etc.)
Automation testing tools (PHPUnit, Selenium, etc.)
Linux command line

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
