Summary
As the Digital Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting in all dimensions of the Controllership function for this fast-paced and complex Digital business. You will play a key role in helping to design, build and sustain the controlling structure for an expanding and increasingly dynamic consumer digital presence. You'll actively collaborate with cross-functional business partners to drive process excellence and financial statement accuracy. You'll assist with the creation and documentation of accounting policies and internal control framework.
Responsibilities
Execute accounting processes and maintain effective internal controls around the tracking and accounting for the Digital business operations, including technical accounting considerations relating to contract accounting and capital expenditures, in accordance with US GAAP and company Accounting Policy;
Drive continuous improvement in the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting processes and financial reporting
Engage key business leaders to obtain visibility and provide accounting guidance for new transactions enabling forecast accuracy and informed business decisions;
Participate in review of monthly, quarterly and annual operational results; continuously add value and be seen as a credible and trusted business partner;
Be part of the larger Controlling Organization and embrace best practices and drive process excellence, including LEAN initiatives over existing processes.
Qualifications
Preferred - 3-5 years with a national public accounting firm. 6 years with a Fortune 500/multi-national consumer products company. People Leadership skills.
Strong enthusiasm for digital technology, innovation, and e-commerce
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate status, issues, and risks with senior leadership
Strong ability to handle and effectively prioritize numerous and competing priorities and requests
Strong ability to seek information and problem solve
Standout can do attitude and enthusiasm to drive and innovate process
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field
3-5 years of experience in accounting or related functions
Big 4 Public accounting experience and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is strongly preferred
Experience with accounting for software and website development costs, labor capitalization and contract accounting is preferred

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
