Project Manager

A Project Manager contract job opportunity is available courtesy of Adecco Engineering and Technology.
Qualified candidates must be proficient in use of Microsoft Project and Office tool suite (Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Visio/SharePoint) and have three to five years direct work experience with project managing in order to be considered.
Your goal throughout this one year long contract position will be to maintain this client's aggressive and sometimes ambiguous project schedule and facilitate resolution of project issues through development of mitigation strategies, ownership, and actions.
This role will work in support of a global apparel and footwear giant located in Beaverton, Oregon.
Project Manager job responsibilities include:
- Schedule/Plan Management - 25%- Facilitates project work breakdown sessions.
- Maintains project schedule.
- Communicate key project metrics and health/progress indicators.
- Cost Management - 25%- Manages project cost estimates, actuals and variance tracking.
- Communications Management - 25%- Executes project communication plan (internal and external).
- Reports status and project health/metrics.
- Facilitates team and stakeholder meetings.
- Project Risk/Issue/Action Management - 25%- Maintains risk management plans.
- Facilitates resolution of project issues through development of mitigation strategies, ownership, and actions.
- Monitors and reports on risk.
- Technical:
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Project and Office tool suite (Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Visio/SharePoint)- Three to five years experience with project managing.
- Communication/Language:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations.
- Ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives.
- Strong information seeking skills and drive to make things happen.
- Ability to understand challenges or underlying concerns, share ideas, and develop effective responses or elevate to higher management.
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
