Position Summary:
Employee will be assigned to instruct children in an assigned dance, tumbling or cheer class or program. VillaSport will define what activities and programs require special instruction skills.
Flexible schedules, including morning, evening, and/or weekend availability highly desired
Friendly, out-going, motivating, energetic personality; must be a team player
2+ years professional experience teaching dance (hip hop, jazz, tap, and ballet) and/or 2+ years teaching tumbling and/or gymnastics to children in the 3 ? 12 year old range
Must be interactive, upbeat, and creative
Provide positive parent and instructor interaction and communication
Must have proficient classroom/studio management skills
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to work independently.
Experience supervising children in a childcare environment. Ability to visually observe children and to physically intervene when the safety of a child could be compromised.
Ability to physically move with children through a wide variety of indoor and outdoor child-care program settings and activities.
Adult and pediatric First Aid and CPR certification required within 90 days of hire date.
Must meet all state requirements for working in a licensed child care facility.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
