Margin Planning Analyst

Kforce has a client seeking a Margin Planning Analyst in Beaverton, Oregon (OR). The nature of the work is focused on the monetary affairs of the company. Works with Factory, Developers, Category Team, and Costing Team to review and interpret factory cost breakdown and its impact on the total weighted margin. This particular role sits in the Revenue and Margin Management's Reporting team and will have a focus on business function alignment amongst multiple functions at the company. Essential Functions:
Works closely with the Margin Planning teams to create a calendar of deliverables that aligns to the Product Creation calendars for Footwear and Apparel
Executes the alignment of business process improvements between Apparel and Footwear Margin Planning
Works closely with IT teams developing and releasing improved IT solutions that could be leveraged by the Margin Planning teams
Discovers and implements process efficiencies across the Rev/Margin Reporting Team
Assists in the creation of a user experience that is intuitive and easy to navigate for the Reporting team's user-base which spans multiple areas of Finance and Product Creation
Communicates new reporting and visualization capabilities while offering support to new and existing users
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum of 2 years directly relevant work experience Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 1 year; Masters + 0-3 years; Associates degree + 1-3 years; High School or GED/equivalent + 3-5 years
The ideal candidate is highly organized, curious and has great attention to detail
This person enjoys learning and being challenged
Minimum 1 year in Finance, Cost or Lean Accounting, Manufacturing, Production, Engineering, or footwear product creation
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
Strong verbal and written communication skills is a must

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
