Inside Sales

Reporting to the Head of Sales Operations, Inside Sales ensures the customer is satisfied with company products, services and support, and works closely with Account Managers to oversee day-to-day relationship with client. This may include ensuring schedules and budgets are met according to contractual agreements. This role will also work with current clients, and pre-qualified potential new clients, to discuss future needs and new opportunities. Inside Sales consults with other team members (product management/marketing/support/training, etc.) to ensure mutual objectives are met.
Primary responsibilities for this position include the following:
- Act as the liaison between customers, account managers and order management.
- Review and record customer information.
- Prepare accurate and timely quotes and bids.
- Track and report the award of contracts in the system.
- Review terms and conditions of contracts.
- Build relationships with existing customer base through targeted outreach and promotions
- Provide customer, installer, and distributor feedback to the organization and peer departments as needed.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of Company's product offerings and services; including product functionality, and importance of products to customers and sales personnel.
- Other duties as assigned.
Working hours: M-F 8am-5pm
Skills:
The successful candidate will possess the following combination of experience, knowledge, and skills:
--Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance or a related discipline. Consideration will be given to candidates without a degree who can demonstrate equivalent knowledge gained from additional professional experience.
--A minimum of 3-5 years related work experience in a customer support role.
--Excellent interpersonal skills, a collaborative style and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
--Use and knowledge of SAP is a MUST!
--Must be able to work independently as well as thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, team environment.
--The successful candidate should demonstrate prior ability to obtain business results by working collaboratively in a multi-cultural, multi-site organization.
--Ability to work with customers to ensure documents are completed properly.
--Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
--Experience interacting with customers and ability to request information in a professional manner. This position may experience high volume and require the ability to respond to multiple, and competing request during the workday.
--Experience in MS Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to synthesize data required.
--Must be able to work independently, as well as thrive in a fast-paced, interrupt-driven, team environment.
--Desire to bring best practices to the team, share your knowledge and expertise and enable your team members' mutual success as the organization continues to grow.
--Organization skills, detailed and process orientation.
--Attendance is a mandatory function of this position.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
