They manage accounting and reporting for Nike's multi-billion-dollar global investment portfolio, debt and equity instruments, and other Treasury activities. They strategize, forecast, audit, analyze, budget, research and lead important decisions. Across Nike's diverse geographies and businesses, Finance employees deliver far more than just the numbers.
As our Finance Intern, you'll be responsible for preparing timely and insightful financial analysis of pertinent information to determine progress against strategic plan, budget and forecast and to ensure financial statement integrity. You'll actively interpret and review financial results with our Business Partners, including trends/issues and opportunities in order to drive actionable responses. You'll also ensure that management is educated on the use and interpretation of financial reports and metrics and advise on the financial implications of business decisions. You'll lead and execute budget and action plan development for the division, assuring delivery of financial objectives that are consistent with the strategic plan and oversee a seamless and efficient forecasting process, recommending and executing process improvements as necessary. This opportunity also involves providing key business leadership through activities such as work planning, process development, resource optimization, financial modeling, scenario planning, and reporting. In addition, you'll provide input into business unit planning and performance metrics and participate in processes geared to continually impact effective internal controls and integrity of financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.

Qualifications
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, preferably with an emphasis in finance or accounting
Currently pursuing an MBA with an expected graduation of winter 2017 or spring 2018
4 years' experience in financial analysis, financial/strategic planning, accounting or budgeting
Experience working for a multi-national consumer products company is preferred
Experience supporting a technical team is very desirable
Intermediate level proficiency using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook
SAP experience is preferred
Strong knowledge of budgeting, investment analysis, economic profit concepts and strategic planning concepts
Strong knowledge of financial modeling, scenario planning, and reporting
Experience leading projects and/or people is preferred
Excellent communication skills and experience with influencing senior leadership
Successfully navigated ambiguity, especially while working with a team
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, M & A, or Management Consulting preferred
Retail, Merchandising, and/or Product experience

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
