Application Developer - JavaScript, CSS, HTML

Kforce has a client seeking an Application Developer in Beaverton, Oregon (OR).Essential Functions:
Design and implement new features in the company's online checkout experience
Write JavaScript, CSS and HTML to implement user interface changes
Write automated JavaScript unit tests to validate code changes, and manually test those changes in an integrated environment
Debug issues found during testing and in the production environment
Be an active participant in team meetings and process improvement
Use a variety of tools to manage source code, builds, and deployments
Suggest and implement ways to improve code base
Participate in code and design reviews
Collaborate with other engineers and teams to design solutions and resolve issues
Work with product owners to understand and raise questions about business requirements
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum of 2 years directly relevant work experience; one of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law 1 year; Masters 0 - 3 years; Associates degree 1 - 3 years; High School diploma or equivalent 3 - 5 years
2 years of experience as a highly productive developer with JavaScript, CSS and HTML
Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with business and technical teammates
Understanding and hands on experience with a tiered architecture
Knowledge of web technologies, including JavaScript, CSS, Node.js, HTTP, Rest services, cookies, and HTML
A track record of solving problems and getting things done in a fast pace, ever evolving environment
e-Commerce experience preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
