Loss Prevention

Our client, a multi-national corporation known worldwide for its athletic shoes and apparel, is seeking a Loss Prevention Analyst?for a 6 month assignment, with potential to extend, located in Beaverton, OR.
You would be a part of a fast-paced highly matrixed corporate environment that designs, develops, manufactures and markets sportswear and equipment. The nature of your work will be focused on the loss prevention retail services group.

In this role, you would be responsible for (but not limited to):
This is an operational role that will initiate investigations and worked with LP field personnel as well as report to Senior Management.
Maintain basic knowledge of Loss Prevention (LP) investigative, reporting, systems, communication and administrative processes.
Provide support in these areas and execute special projects as assigned.
Research latest developments in security systems in order to recommend possible hardware and software solutions/improvements to LP management.
Arrange vendor demonstrations of new products.
Maintain civil demand and restitution case files and work with vendors to administer civil demand programs.
Audit individual case files to assess viability of restitution and recommend follow-up course of action.
Will be working with internal theft related to Territory/Field
Look for P.O.S. Anomolies
work with inventory adjustments
Exception based reporting and Incident communication follow up skills key
You are required to have a High School diploma or equivalent (Bachelor?s Degree preferred) and minimum of 2 years directly relevant Loss prevention management work experience. Must be proficient with MS office suite (excel, word, outlook). Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment with constantly changing priorities. Proficient excel, especially working knowledge of Pivot tables is a bonus. Must be good with data analysis.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
