Description: Providence is calling a Supervisor, IS Applications- Cancer, Genomics, & Research Applications to Providence Health & Services in Renton, WA, Beaverton, Portland, OR, Burbank or Torrance, CA. We are seeking a Supervisor IS Applications- Cancer, Geonomics, & Research Applications to provide excellence in application planning, implementation and support for Providence Health and Services (PH& S) and affiliated organizations. This position has technical expertise to provide recommendations for work management processes and efficiencies, provides analysis and priority and assigns work. This position is responsible for providing an environment that promotes a high level of client and employee satisfaction, continuous improvement, and the accurate execution of policy and procedures to support the internal and external clients of Providence. This position is responsible for daily staffing and staff structure optimization and recommendations. This position utilizes effective project management and root cause analysis techniques. Additional responsibilities include providing assistance in the development, support and execution of goals and objectives and assistance in the development and execution of the capital and operating budgets for assigned areas. In this position you will: + Implement appropriate service delivery models for core application functions in defining, delivering, and improving services for the enterprise and its customers. + Be responsible for working with staff in ensuring adherence to standards, and continuously evaluating the effectiveness of application systems. + Monitor the performance of applications within their domain and evaluates the performance of services on the basis of specific KPIs. + Monitor team and project expenditures and participate in the budgeting process. + Assist in developing budgets and the expenditures for information services related to applications in partnership with other peers. + Escalate critical issues, problems or delays in production, projects or any other issues that has an impact on the customer. + Responsible for daily operational management of the non-Epic enterprise systems for the line of business supporting applications in areas that include, but may not be limited to Cancer/Oncology, Genomics, and Clinical Research. + Work closely with all Application System Support and ministry subject matter experts. + Function as main support focal point for one of the four listed areas: Mapped record testing, functional test tracking and relationship with Quality Assurance; Outreach business support and relationships with local business owners;Intake and deployment and relationship with IT Stratigic Partners and Governance; or Production monitoring and relationship with ITSM support and Application Leadership Qualifications: Required qualifications for this position include: + Associates degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. + 3 years of Information Services leadership experience, and 5 years total relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience. + Proven experience with application production support and software implementation projects in a Health IT setting. + Demonstrated ability to assess risk, prioritize, communicate, coordinate, negotiate conflict, and facilitate teamwork. + Key experience highlights include: Demonstrated ability to successfully execute operational plans for highly complex issues and applications; healthcare information services operations and support; experience standardizing complex and disparate processes; understanding of methodologies related to application management such as system deployment, support, and life cycle; experience in process improvement methodology, change management, operational improvement in complex systems. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
