Senior Financial Analyst

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Beaverton, Oregon (OR). The nature of the work is focused on the monetary affairs of the company.Essential Functions:
As the Senior Financial Analyst, will be responsible for preparing timely and insightful financial reporting and analysis of pertinent information to determine progress against strategic plan, budget and forecast and to ensure financial statement integrity
Will be working very closely with two Financial Directors supporting two Categories
Assisting them in leading and executing budget and action plan development for the Category; assuring delivery of financial objectives that are consistent with the strategic plan and oversee a seamless and efficient forecasting process, recommending and executing process improvements as necessary
Actively interpret and review financial results with our Business Partners, including trends/issues and opportunities in order to drive actionable responses
Ensure that Business Partners are educated on the use and interpretation of financial reports and metrics and advise on the financial implications of business decisions
Involves working with cross functional teams within the Category through key financial deliverables (monthly, quarterly and annual) such as financial modeling, scenario planning, and reporting
Provide input into Category planning and performance metrics and participate in processes geared to continually impact effective internal controls and integrity of financial statements in compliance with US GAAP
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, preferably with an emphasis in finance or accounting
3 years of experience in financial analysis, financial/strategic planning, accounting or budgeting
Experience working for a multi-national consumer products company is preferred
Experience supporting business partners is very desirable
Advance level proficiency using Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook
Experience with Enterprise Financial systems. SAP experience is preferred
Strong knowledge of financial modeling, analysis, scenario planning, and reporting
Ability to mine large amounts of data and turn into meaning and insightful analysis
Ability to multi-task and prioritization of projects/tasks
Detail oriented and great organizational skills preferred
Experience leading projects and/or people is preferred
Excellent communication skills and experience with influencing team members
Successfully navigated ambiguity, especially while working with a team

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
