As an analyst with Procurement you will learn about and become part of our team, with the opportunity to support and drive strategic work. Procurement's mission is to maximize consumer and profit impact by leveraging Nike's suppliers and scale.
We are looking for an impact-driven Strategic Sourcing Analyst who will join the Global Procurement team. You will join our Global Procurement analyst program with exposure to all elements of our Procurement organization ? materials & packaging, Design-to-Value (DtV), manufacturing equipment, supply chain and our indirect categories. You will partner with directors and sourcing managers to drive impact in each of these areas.
As part of the analyst program, you will be trained in and deploy our Procurement Framework, including sourcing strategy, sourcing execution and supplier relationship management. For a specific material category, you'll jointly identify the opportunity and sourcing strategy to capture that opportunity. The sourcing strategy will be based on overall Nike and Global Procurement objectives, supply market dynamics and rigorous TCO analytics. You will work with the team to execute the TCO strategy using the 7-Step Strategic Sourcing Process which includes: stage gates, spend analysis, requirements planning, risk management, market analysis, strategy development, competitive bidding (RFx), supplier negotiations, supplier selection, contracting, supplier management, cost savings methodology, performance reporting, and proficiency with sourcing tools.
As you progress through the analyst program, you will master all of the core capabilities required to move into a sourcing manager role. Additionally, you will gain exposure to key stakeholders throughout the broader operations organization.

Qualifications
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
0-2 years work experience & Analytical background (Finance, Engineering, etc.)
Strong Excel, math, and cost modeling skills (finance, engineering) strongly preferred
Ability to comb through large amounts of data, analyze, draw conclusions, and present a coherent viewpoint
Evidence of entrepreneurial spirit, leadership positions, and ambition
Project management abilities
Ability to deal with ambiguity, creative problem solver & want to get their "hands dirty"
Able to think on their feet and articular problems well
Sports focus/interest & Passion for the brand
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to have):
Previous experience or coursework focused on procurement, operations, supply chain, or finance
Track-record of demonstrating en entrepreneurial spirit in fast-paced environment
General financial skills/knowledge
Business coursework and database/coding experience

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
