Vice President, Client Services

The Vice President of Client Services is the Settlement Administration segment's most senior executive for project management. Upward reporting will be to the Managing Director and the position will be based in Portland, Oregon.
The Vice President of Client Services must lead by example with highest professional standards and a sincere commitment to maintaining and enhancing long-term, repeat business relationships among satisfied customers. The selected executive must possess exceptional executive presence and be accepted by senior decision makers in law firms and in the legal departments of large corporations as a sophisticated subject matter expert and colleague.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Serve as the senior leader of the Client Services organization, which provides day-to-day project management services to clients.
Manage 2-3 direct reports and oversee a broader team of approximately 40 client-facing project management professionals.
Serve as senior liaison on key client engagements and develop executive relationships within the market.Actively participate with the Sales department on business development efforts.
Establish and maintain departmental best practices.Set organizational goals and ensure achievement of deadlines.
Provide senior oversight on client-specific projects ensuring collaborative and aligned partnership with Strategic Relations, Sales and Operations teams to accomplish organizational goals.
Responsible for the development and stewardship of multi-million dollar budgets for private and federal projects.
Partner with technology teams to ensure the delivery of technology solutions and overall service excellence in a manner that meets client expectations.
Oversee ombudsman group ensuring continuous improvement and timely resolution for client escalations and incident resolution.Provide feedback to the Sales and Client Relations team regarding service strategy and tactics
Assist Client Services Management in creating project teams and assigning staff to new matters.
Ensure project forecasts and work schedules are developed and implemented by project teams.
Serve as escalation point for critical client issues.
Ensure client and project requirements are being met by meeting on a regular basis with project teams and cross-functional team leadership.
Ensure that new department members are trained appropriately and briefed on project requirements.
Business unit forecasting and revenue development.Develop and deliver a budget that supports the achievement of settlement administration targets.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
