Description: Providence is calling a status Registered Nurse - Beaverton Nursing Services to Providence Medical Group Beaverton Nursing Services at Elderplace Beaverton in Beaverton, OR. + This is a 40 hour per week, day shift position. + Your shift is from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday -Fridays only. + Clinic Nursing/Community Care Home Visits + ElderPlace Beaverton Clinic is a day centerthat supports all inclusive care for elderly participants from our community. + Join our Team! In this position, you will: + Provide and supervise professional, independent nursing care for Providence patients. Care is based in the nursing process and is consistent with the Oregon Nurse Practice Act. + Apply knowledge of assessing, planning, ordering, giving, delegating, teaching, and supervising professional nursing care delivery that promotes patients' optimal health and independence. All Providence professional nursing practice requires a broad range of general nursing knowledge and expertise. In addition, development and validation of knowledge and skills essential to the assigned department, patient population and/or practice are are crucial. Qualifications: Required qualifications for this position include: + Bachelors Degree in Nursing required for newly hired Registered Nurses as of 2018 + Current unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license + Current Basic Life Support (BLS) + American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) for healthcare provider certification required within 6 months of hire + 1 year experience working with the frail or elderly population + Relevant training and certification applicable to the position, as specified by the Nurse Manager Preferred qualifications for this position include: + Bachelors Degree in Nursing + Spanish speaking About Providence in Oregon As the largest healthcare system and largest private employer in Oregon, Providence offers exceptional work environments and unparalleled career opportunities. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
