Position Description:
Oregon State Licensed Journeyman/LME who is eager to work in a challenging, fast paced environment. They will analyze/correct problems and repair/overhaul electrical equipment and controls.
To perform preventive maintenance procedures, overhaul procedures, building maintenance, HVAC maintenance / repairs, and other activity to ensure food safety, employee safety, product quality, and environmental compliance.
Maintain safe work practices at all times and participate in safety programs
Must be able to repair or replace all electrical devices including, but not limited to: breaker panels, motor starters, heaters, fuses, lights, AC drives, motors, electrical switches, etc. - all in accordance with state and federal codes, including company policies and procedures
Must be able to perform construction work such as running conduits, pulling wire, installing switches, breaker panels, etc. - as needed to supply power to plant electrical apparatus
Must have PLC experience
Must know how to use VOM Meter, Megger, AMP Meter and Chart Recorder
Must have basic electric motor repair, electrical construction, trouble shooting skills
Must have some electrical schematic and blue print reading skills
Must know the operation of a motor starter and how to rebuild it
Must have some understanding of AC drive motor controllers
Must be able to work weekends and overtime when needed
Master at repairing, and troubleshooting bakery equipment and systems.
Utilizes Lock-Out/Tag-Out, Confined Space, and Hazard Material Handling procedures
Capable of training mechanics and plant engineers (mechanics) on power transmissions, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
Provides direct support to production, sanitation and quality systems related to ensuring company policies and procedures along with ensuring full compliance with AIB International and Grupo Bimbo audit compliance criteria.
Responsible for completing technical work assignments with nominal supervision.
Capable of identifying equipment parts and components that are required to repair and maintain equipment.
Adept at preventive, predictive and proactive maintenance.
Recommends solutions to the maintenance manager - plant engineer to improve equipment performance.
Capable of overhauling process systems, and equipment to ensure optimal equipment uptime.
Recommends improvements related to preventive maintenance procedures.

Minimum Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Possession of an Oregon Electrician, Limited Journeyman, Manufacturing Plant license or higher
Experience with PLC's (Programmable Logic Controllers)
Preferred Qualifications:
Two (2) years of maintenance experience in an industrialized, manufacturing environment

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
