LifeWorks NW works in collaboration with the Neighborhood Health Center. This particular position will be located at the Neighborhood Health Center's Beaverton clinic.
PURPOSE: T he Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) provides psychiatric evaluation and consultation to patients of Neighborhood Health Center. The PMHNP will not carry a caseload, instead they will see patients one to two times for an evaluation and provide diagnostic and prescribing recommendations to the primary care physicians at Neighborhood Health Center. Clients may have chemical dependency, emotional, or behavioral disturbances and/or other psychiatric diagnoses.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be licensed to practice in Oregon.
PMHNP with prescriptive privileges required.
ANCC required.
Good computer skills including a functional knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word. Ability to master proprietary software including electronic health record system.
Demonstrates effective communication skills and maintains a cooperative working relationship with others in a culturally diverse environment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
