Senior iOS Software Engineer ?

Digimarc is seeking a Senior iOS Software Engineer who values intellectual challenge, good judgment, and sound technical abilities in equal measure. Key responsibilities include two key areas:
+ Enhancement and maintenance of Digimarc iOS apps
+ API design, implementation, testing, and documentation for iOS SDKs used by internal and external Digimarc customers.
These products process both image and audio data and interact with network services. Correctness, stability, and performance are essential features. Throughout our work, collaboration with other developers, QA staff, and researchers is essential to success.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
+ 3+ years of team software development experience
+ BSEE, BSCS, or other strong mathematical education
+ Strong grasp of emerging technologies, mobile development best practices, and ability to architect and deliver mobile solutions
+ Mature Objective-C and Swift development, test, and debugging skills
+ Competent C++ skills
+ Skilled use of unit testing frameworks and automation
+ Experience with AVFoundation to capture image and audio data
+ Proficient use of at least one revision control tool
+ Demonstrates clear spoken and written communications skills
+ Possesses strong technical curiosity, is self-motivated, collaborative, and able to prioritize tasks
+ Alignment with the core Digimarc values of Integrity, Caring, Loyalty, Innovation, Commitment, and Knowledge in a fun, fast paced working environment
DESIRABLE SPECIALTIES:
+ At least one published app, with a release history and customer support experience
+ Exposure to signal processing or graphics algorithms
+ Performance measurement and optimization of algorithms
+ Knowledge of Android platform
+ Basic command-line tool development for Mac, Linux, or Windows as needed
+ Interest in digital watermarking technology

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
