As our Strategic Planning Intern you'll work directly with senior executive leadership to develop and execute Nike, Inc.'s global long-term growth strategy. You'll independently lead cross-functional special project teams in support of general management to help identify and evaluate critical strategic priorities and/or strategic problems, and to catalyze action against these priorities through strategic and long-range business planning and performance management. In addition, you'll also assist in the identification, evaluation and execution of global Mergers & Acquisitions, new business development and strategic licensing related opportunities for Nike, Inc. and its portfolio of brands.

Qualifications
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree
Currently pursuing an MBA or advanced degree with a graduation date in 2018.
At least 4 years' total experience in corporate development, business development, corporate strategic planning, investment banking, management consulting, finance or related fields
Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis and financial models
Proven ability to conduct and/or analyze research related to consumers, industries and competitors
Problem structuring and strategic problem solving skills
Technical corporate finance and valuation skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience with presenting and influencing senior leadership
Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once with a level of ambiguity
Strong passion for Nike

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
