Digimarc is looking to add ahighly talented and energetic Sales Director to help develop new business with the primary focus on the Consumer Package Goods Manufactures (CPG?s) and various Retailers (Grocery, Mass Merchant, Home Improvement). The successful candidate will be energized by delivering innovative solutions to customers, and help grow revenues and market share. The individual should thrive in an exciting, fast-paced, high-tech environment, introducing the Digimarc Barcode solutions to targeted customers and collaborating with channel partners as necessary to determine the best sales approach and close business.
The Sales Director will develop detailed account plans, sales strategies, and solution selling of technology-based solutions into complex manufacturing and retail environments with multiple stakeholders, influencers and decision-makers. Follow-up on pre-qualified leads, as well as self-generated sales leads and relationships to assess the opportunity and determine the best strategy for engaging the prospect and moving them through the sales cycle. All interactions will be captured in the companies CRM tool for effective account management and reporting. Sales Director will have a thorough understanding of all aspects of consumer packaged goods manufacturers, brand and the retail business environments with a successful track record for solution selling across multiple disciplines in these organizations and at all levels within an organization, including corporate executives.
+ Demonstrated ability to take qualified prospects through an entire sales cycle and close the order
+ Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
+ Develop account plans and sales strategy, working with other Executives and upper management
+ Support marketing to appropriately price and position Digimarc solutions and offerings
+ Bring the ?voice of the customer? to the organization and articulate requirements to deployment team and product marketing
+ Consistently meet or exceed booking and revenue plan while growing customer base
+ Over time, manage and train other sales associates and inside sales activities
+ Travel up to 50%
+ Must have good communication and presentation skills
+ Demonstrated success developing new business
+ Previous experience building and managing solution delivery into multi-billion dollar National Accounts
+ Strong knowledge of the CPG Industry/ Retail Operations and POS Solutions preferred
+ Strong working knowledge of mobile response code technologies and market dynamics preferred
+ Proven ability to communicate and present to all levels within an organization, including C-level audiences
+ Atleast 10 years demonstrated success selling solutions or consultative selling experience, preferably to National CPG companies and National Retail companies.

+ BS/BA desired
+ Location preference: Minneapolis, MN or Chicago, IL
+ Remote sales position and requires travel

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
