Compliance Medicare Specialist

Providence is calling a Compliance Medicare Specialist to Providence Health Plan in Beaverton, OR.
In this position you will:
Be responsible for monitoring plan-wide compliance results for public and commercial programs, with an emphasis on Medicare compliance.
Coordinate the fulfillment of several compliance requirements.
Required qualifications for this position include:
2 years of health plan operations experience or health services experience with Medicare programs; -or-
Experience with compliance requirements for Medicare programs; -or-
Experience such as work in compliance, legal and/or other related positions
Experience with one or more of the following:
Process improvement activities
Policy/procedure development
Report writing
Written customer communications
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's degree

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
