Product Business Analyst

Sage is looking for a highly motivated Product Business Analyst to join our team. As a PBA at Sage, you will engage collaboratively across multiple teams to discover, define and prioritize unmet customer needs. You will drive customer-focused discovery to define and refine key customer workflow experiences in a dynamic market, across the product lifecycle. Engage proactively, constructively and creatively with customers, partners and internal stakeholders to identify and help prioritize unmet customer needs.
Conduct and also assist with customer and business partner interviews to elicit feedback on new and changing workflows.
Collaborate closely with PM and R&D colleagues to bring new ideas to market.
Serve as product functional expert. Help define and groom the product backlog.
Evaluate information from multiple sources, help distinguish user requests from user needs.
Develop and maintain productive working relationships with a diverse group of business stakeholders, gaining an in-depth understanding of the business, to support the prioritization and delivery of solutions.
Validate and assess solution design throughout the project with business stakeholders. Identify problem areas and provide recommendations for future enhancements.
Understand technical concepts and communicate to business in non-technical language. Serve as a liaison between PM and Dev. Help define technical requirements to support market requirements.
Research existing product issues and enhancement requests for targeting areas of focus. Coordinate with PM on prioritization of these items in conjunction with new product work.

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent relevant experience.
2+ years of product business analyst industry experience.
Construction domain experience (preferred).
300 CRE specific domain knowledge (preferred).
Professional presence and demeanor in both communication and presentation skills. Able to interact comfortably, and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Ability to effectively lead and facilitate discussions with multiple type A personalities. Able to keep discussions at the appropriate level of abstraction or detail, as needed. Able to achieve consensus and decisions as needed.
Ability to use creativity and independent judgment to accomplish goals.
Ability to travel as needed.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
