Analytic Consultant 1

The Liability Fraud Claims Management MIS Team provides reporting and analysis support for our business partners in ATM/Debit Card Claims (ADCC), the Integrated Claims Call Center (ICCC), ACH Claims, Check Fraud Claims, and Online Fraud Claims teams. We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and highly self-motivated Analytics Consultant 1 to work in this fast-paced environment. This position is primarily responsible for performing assigned analyses and projects to solve a variety of issues for the lines of business we support. The job also supports the production of business line functional reporting (daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports) vital to claim and call processing groups. Duties are varied and include writing, maintaining and supporting a variety of ad-hoc and production reports utilizing Microsoft SQL Server, Teradata SQL, Oracle SQL, MicroStrategy, and Excel. The successful candidate will develop and perform queries both independently and at direction of management. They may also participate in projects and committees that impact department initiatives as well as assist ongoing production and workflow improvement efforts. Responsibilities include: Identification of potential data sources and compiling/mining data from a variety of sources Responding to requests for specific, customized reports and ad hoc analyses Ensuring data integrity and conducting root cause analysis for data issues Summarizing and presenting report findings to senior leadership team members Ensuring adherence to data management regulations and policies Acting as a liaison, subject matter expert, and analytics support partner for multiple internal business units Actively engaging operations team members to define business requirements and analytical needs Partnering with other team members, including project lead responsibilities and defining deliverables while monitoring progress to ensure successful completion Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am-4:00pm or 8:00am-5:00pm. Location: The desired locations are posted; however, other locations may be considered. Required Qualifications: 1+ year of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) experience 1+ year of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) experience 3+ years of reporting experience, analytics experience, or a combination of both; or a BS/BA degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis Desired Qualifications: A BS/BA degree or higher Claims handling or processing experience MicroStrategy experience Oracle experience SharePoint experience Ability to develop reports and metrics Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities Ability to translate and summarize complex data into understandable, actionable information and recommendations Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Exposure to Wells Fargo DAT (Disputes Automated Tracking) application or CLAIMS application Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Knowledge and understanding of Customer Contact Management (CCM) Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements surrounding Regulation E Knowledge and understanding of report creation: ad hoc reports in an operational environment Knowledge and understanding of Teradata Experience working with changing priorities and deadlines Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Good analytical skills including strategically analyzing data, diagnosing opportunities, and providing interventions How to Express Interest in This Job: Wells Fargo invites you to apply for this job at https

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
