The position is located in Beaverton, OR.
Job Description:
Maxim is seeking several Process Engineer Interns to provide support to Manufacturing Operations during a 12-week summer assignment. Process Engineer Interns provide support to Manufacturing Operations by optimizing existing manufacturing processes for analog/mixed-signal silicon device fabrication.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Monitoring the health of the tools and ensuring high quality
Characterizing and driving tool performance matching
Assisting in troubleshooting processing equipment failures
Qualification of new tools, new raw materials, and new consumable parts
Analyzing statistical process control (SPC) module data
Analyzing cycle time and equipment availability/utilization metrics

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
