Infrastructure Systems Engineer
Our IT Operations team is looking for an Infrastructure Systems Engineer to architect, coordinate, and participate in the implementation of technologies and platforms supporting a complex corporate infrastructure. Qualified candidates will have at least 3-5 years' previous experience providing system and platform integration, strong MS Azure background, and proficiency managing enterprise wide Linux and Microsoft server environments. Job duties
Architect, coordinate, and participate in the implementation of technologies and platforms supporting a complex corporate infrastructure
Provide domain level technical guidance and recommendations for designing, building, testing, deploying and maintaining highly-available, scalable, and secure applications
Maintain, monitor, and support the infrastructure environment
Monitor systems and identify performance issues proactively
Resolve issues and prepare status reviews and reports
Document the design, operation and troubleshooting of technology platforms and procedures
Maintain the necessary project plans and documentation of all system builds and modifications
Deploy application and systems into complex cloud and on-prem environments
Provide 24/7 support with rotating on-call duties after hours within predetermined and agreed upon service expectations
Essential skills
3-5 years' previous experience providing system and platform integration for a complex on-prem and cloud environment
Strong MS Azure experience; Azure Cloud Certification strongly preferred
Experience managing enterprise wide Linux and Microsoft server environments
Experience with enterprise server and datacenter technologies
Knowledge of IT Infrastructure, Data Networks, Virtualization, IT Security, Web servers and storage technologies
Experience with recovery methodologies and technologies supporting an enterprise wide DC environment
Proven experience in design, development, and implementation of software systems and applications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or other related field of study or equivalent experience
