Job Description
We are looking for a Summer Intern to join our SDK firmware team. At Skyworks AIS, we create mixed signal ASICs targeted at audio applications. These are highly integrated designs incorporating audio codecs, battery chargers, DPS processors, and power control systems that support a wide range of communication interfaces. We begin work with the hardware team to help define these custom systems. From there, we create the core operating system and driver components and follow this through to finished silicon and SDK packages that we provide to application teams. Our goal is to address all the elements the processor controls and simplify the task of using these parts in a wide range of designs.
Requirements:
Background in development in C ideally with some RTOS exposure
Passion/excitement about embedded firmware development
Must be currently enrolled in BS or MS program in Engineering
Some experience working with electrical hardware interfacing
Preferred:
Any experience programming real time systems
Any experience with assembly code, python or build tools
